about chris

Resistance is feudal.

Eurocon

Ever dreamt of running a medieval kingdom, fighting battles with your neighboring fiefdoms, going out on crusades, all while surrounded by the most glorious ASCII graphics you've ever witnessed? You HAVE? Oh boy! Then check out Eurocon, a QBasic game I wrote sometime in middle school. Actual game motto - "Because 'European Conquest' wouldn't fit on the sword logo!"

Gives new meaning to whitespaceAlien Attack

The first game of any merit I produced with Clickteam's awesome game-making software "Klik n Play" (sic). For one of my early middle school efforts it's surprisingly entertaining. You command the U.S.S. Generic Red Starship in the continuing mission to eradicate all moving sprites in space, which, for some reason, is white. It gets pretty tough towards the end. You probably can't beat it.

White boys can too jump!

The Adventures of Chris

My 7th grade masterpiece, insofar as such a thing is possible. Produced with Klik n' Play, the Adventures of Chris is a side scrolling action adventure starring me in various random world locales. This game also was the first to feature some graphics that I, in a burst of inspiration, didn't steal. Looking back at it, maybe I should have.

Violence solves everything.

IB Stress Relief Program

A simple two-player fighting game starring all my various friends from the 9th grade IB program, made using the Games Factory, Clickteam's sequel to Klik n Play. There's also a secret character...

Fear the sword!Adventures of Kyle

Join Kyle Sapp in an exciting fantasy adventure combining elements of Diablo and the Legend of Zelda, as well as the music of Final Fantasy VII. Foolish enough to invite his new girlfriend and evil sorceress Circe to a game of Dungeons & Dragons, Kyle finds himself trapped in his own point-and-click fantasy world. Made with the Games Factory.

The trombone beats the ocarina any old day...Legends of Kyle

The unfinished sequel to the Adventures of Kyle is an out-and-out ripoff of "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past" and "Majora's Mask." Hence, it's a lot of fun. Join Kyle in his quest to save the world of Midrule from the volcano goddess Huchimahma, who will cause the mountain to erupt in exactly thirty minutes! Unless you can find the Trombone of Time...

Chris and Kyle X

Chris and Kyle team up for a side-scrolling Gothic horror puzzle adventure, complete with zombies. Crashed on "Mysterious Uncharted Island," Chris and Kyle decide to venture into the nearby ominous compound in search of assistance. Will they find it? No. No they will not. Created with Multimedia Fusion my freshman year of college.

All the above games were developed by Chris Guin throughout his middle school, high school, and college careers. In the event that you actually want to steal these games, you can't, because it's copywritten, so there. Also, half the graphics and all the music are stolen already, so isn't it time to put an end to this vicious cycle?
